Green World was founded on 2 August 1988 as an environmental association
in Sosnovy Bor city located at the South coast of the Gulf of
Finland, 80 km to the West from St. Petersburg, Russia. was registered
as Non-governmental Charity Environmental organisation by the
Leningrad Region Justice Authority on 31 January, 1997.
