State Hermitage Museum
The State Hermitage occupies six magnificent buildings situated
along the embankment of the River Neva, right in the heart of
St. Petersburg. Put together throughout two centuries and a half,
the Hermitage collections of works of art (over 3,000,000 items)
present the development of the world culture and art from the
Stone Age to the 20th century.

Pushkin Apartment Museum
The Pushkin Apartment Museum, located on the river Moika Embankment
#12, is the only memorial Pushkin museum in the city which tells
about the last period of the poet's life and work. There Pushkin,
mortally wounded at the duel, died on January 29, 1837, and there
one can see things that belonged to Pushkin and his family.

Kunstkammer
Our Museum is the oldest state museum in Russia. It was founded
in 1704 at Peter the Great’s decree and served as the foundation
for the St. Petersburg (and later Russian) Academy of Sciences
and a number of the Academy’s scientific and museum institutions.

Menshikov Palace
The palace of the first governer of Saint Petersburg - A.D. Menshikov
now works as a museum of Russian culture of the first half of
18th century. Exposition features works of art as well as objects
of everyday life. The most interesting thing about palace are
it's interiors decorated with Dutch ceramic thin slab.
