The Peter and Paul Fortress, located in the historical part of St. Petersburg, is one of the city's main highlights. The fortress, founded in 1703 to protect the Neva lands from the Swedes, was the first building of the new city.

Pushkin
The palace and park ensemble of Tsarskoy Selo (literally - "tsar's village") was the main residence of Russian emperors. The special place in the ensemble belongs to the Palace of Katherine the Great with its world-famous Amber Room.

St. Isaac's Cathedral
St. Isaac's Cathedral is one of the world's largest cathedrals. The Cathedral is 101,5 meters high and can hold up to 12,000 people. It took 40 years to construct this fascinating temple. The dome of St. Isaac's Cathedral now dominates the city skyline.

Peterhof
Peterhof, often referred to as the Russian Versailles, was founded at the beginning of the 18th century by Peter the Great. This palace and park ensemble will stir your imagination with a wealth of fountains including the world-famous Grand Cascade and Samson.

St. Petersburg: Hermitage Museum
The State Hermitage Museum's collections number over 3 million items presenting the history of the world art from the Stone Age to our days. Among the gems of the Hermitage there are paintings by Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Titian, Giorgone, Michelangelo, Rembrandt, and other great artists.
