Kizhi Island
Kizhi is an island in Lake Onega in Karelia. This place is famous for a set of wooden constructions that have preserved from the Kizhsky churchyard. Kizhi with its outstanding architectural monuments was turned into the Museum-reserve of National Wooden Architecture and Ethnography of Karelia in 1960.
